Size Guide

Welcome to the Nicolita Fitting Room!

I want to help you find the Perfect Fit Nicolita Style. Below I have created a Nicolita Swimwear Fit guide to match your curves with our swimwear options and styles. If you still have questions of which bikini or one piece style would look best with your body shape just call 866-NICOLITA (866-642-6548)  or e-mail hola@mynicolita.

Over the last 15 years since I started Nicolita in 2003, I have worked with a lot of Nicolita clients on selecting the perfect swimsuit for them. I'm the first to admit that wearing a bikini or one piece swimsuit can be challenging for the majority of us. Even if you have a rockin' body, there are certain styles that work better on certain body shapes.

But I am a strong believer that there is the perfect swimsuit out there for you. And we have gone ahead and picked out some styles that are flattering for you!

SOFIA TOP

This style is adjustable because it ties around the neck. This style provides more coverage on the sides than our basic triangle top. For smaller cup sizes, try removing the bra cups. We recommend that this style fits up to a DDD/F bra cup size.

How To Measure For Your Swimsuit Size

Measuring Your Bust

Wearing your best fitting bra, measure around the fullest part of the bust. Make sure to keep the tape level all the way around the body. Don’t let it slip low or slide up too high in the back. This is the measurement you’ll use when referencing your size charts.

Measuring Your Waist

First, find your natural waistline. To do this stand up straight and bend sideways till crest of using your side. Generally, it’s just below your last rib and couple of inches above your navel. Don’t forget to keep the tape level all the way around. This number is your waist measurement.

Measuring Your Hips

This number is determined by measuring around the widest part of the hip area. It’s different on everyone but, it’s roughly eight inches below the waistline. Be sure to stand with your feet together, wrap the tape around your hips making sure the tape is level all around and it goes of the fullest part of your rear. This is your hip measurement.

Measuring Your Torso

The torso measurement is often overlooked. But it’s very important to getting the right fit. Place the end of the measuring tape on top of your shoulder about two inches in the edge. Direct the tape over your bust down between your legs and back up to the starting point. This is your torso measurement.
